Brand Identity Package Design Custom Typography
Gubiani Distillery is a small-batch distiller that produces unique, aromatic gins. Influenced by the Northern Italian heritage of its namesake, the design celebrates the history and craft of gin distillation through sophisticated heraldry, typography, and historical motifs. The inspiration for the hand-illustrated eagle comes directly from the flag of Fruiuli, Italy. Swaths of cascading colour on the label create a strong brand block and ownable brand presence.

Concept Development
Our original intention was to create bottle designs for multiple flavours of gin. The proposed concepts explored a number of possibilities and dieline shapes, covering heritage aspects of traditional gin packaging, the Italian roots of the client, modern craft aesthetic, as well as thinking about interesting ways to create tactility.
